Wheeler of New York City, recessed hinges, initials to rear, gold cuvette, fancy white and pink enamel SS impressed dial with two shades of gold foil accents, fancy gilt Loius XV style hands, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, three visible diamond endstones, jeweled barrel, raised gold jewel settings, gold train, circular pattern nickel damascene, ornately damascened winding wheels, s#9503972. Gross weight of assembled watch 70.4 dwt (109.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few spots of oxide to winding wheels, bright lustrous plates with few micro-fine scratches; dial has two faint hls within seconds-register; nearly mint hands; case shows light wear, rear with small shallow dent and pinpoint ding that are more visible to inner surface of lid and have little exterior visibility, mild dent to band at 6:30, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows medium to ample wear with ridge break; good glass crystal.
